What Is a Validation Act?

Validation Act (VA) validates the capability of a particular Measurement System for the given Measurement Task, under a specific Measurement Process.

The Measurement System (MS) is usually one measuring device that was chosen to measure the part -- i.e. to execute the Measurement Task.

The Measurement Task is usually the part to be measured, together with its parameters.

The Measurement Process is a combination of interconnected influences, resources and operations that determine the value of the measured quantity.
